Smiley For Kylie was named for 12-year-old Kylie Myers, who faced her cancer challenge with courage and a radiant smile. Before her death in 2015, Kylie charged her family with finding a cure for childhood cancer so that no other child, or family, would have to suffer as she had. The organization was formed for the purpose of funding research which will lead to safer and more effective cures for childhood cancer, as well as to raise awareness and support children and families impacted by the disease. With over 2500 deaths each year in the U.S., cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children. However, less than 4% of the National Cancer Institute’s annual budget is dedicated to defeating childhood cancer. Smiley for Kylie strives to help fill the research funding gap.

“It’s truly heartwarming to see the legacy of hope and joy Kylie left behind in her quest to serve other children,” said Jeremy Usery, owner of Sharon Springs Coverage. “We feel honored to assist Smiley For Kylie in their mission to support local families and fund research which will eradicate childhood cancer.”

Utilizing its own resources and seeking the help of its vast network of customers and business partners, Sharon Springs Coverage marches on to ensure customers, friends, family and neighbors are always in good hands. Social media and an email awareness campaign will be used to help the agency’s caring team spread the word about the campaign for Smiley For Kylie. They have also featured the cause in their monthly magazine, Our Hometown, which is delivered to thousands of households in the Alpharetta metro area. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue may be enjoyed at http://sharonspringscoverage.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39.

Supporting their latest Community Cause has never been easier, as Sharon Springs has pledged to donate $20 to Smiley For Kylie for each and every referral they receive for an insurance quote, with no purchase necessary. Readers who would like to view the campaign, recommend a friend and/or make a personal donation may do so here. http://sharonspringscoverage.com/Encourage-Young-Cancer-Patients-To-Always-Choose-Joy_13_community_cause
